If we could hug you all, we would! Thank you for your patience this week during our mom celebration. We hope it hasn't been too obnoxious!

ReplyDeleteMy daughter made me breakfast and later we go over to my sister-in-law for dinner with my mother-in-law.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and my kids took me out for breakfast. My mother-in-law is making Sunday lunch for the whole family. Then I'm going to work at my little shop that my mom and I own in Douglas, MI for a few hours (so other moms can enjoy their day and do a little shopping!) Then my brothers and I will be taking our mom out for dinner this evening. Happy Mothers Day, fellow moms! <3

After church we are going to a pizza buffet (my kids favorite), then probably coming home and relaxing! I haven't felt very good since Friday, so I may even take a nap!
ReplyDeleteI called my Mom who lives 60 miles away. She was awake, but still in bed, so I was the 1st of 3 girls to get to her. She has church and then graduation receptions to go to, so I gave her gift to her last week and the card to her on Thursday when she was in town. I was in law enforcement for 37 years and we learned the holiday is when you make it. Rarely did it match the calender.

ReplyDeleteSpending the day with my little girls and visiting their daddy at work to bring him lunch. We planted some flowers and snuggled. Enjoying every moment I can of their "littleness," because unlike family, that won't last forever! nmgebel@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy day: volunteering in my son's Sunday School class, attending church service, going out for lunch with my hubby and two kids, taking flowers to my mother-in-law, and then hopefully a little relaxation. Visited and gave flowers to my own dear mother on Friday.

Deleteadwertman@gmail.com I gardened with my children today. Very productive and a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteToday was a day filled with family and this week has reminded me of the importance of FAMILY again and again! My husband had a mild heart attack this week that led to open heart surgery. Without my FAMILY, I wouldn't have been able to make it through. My FAMILY held it together for me and stuck together through the long hours of waiting in the waiting room, the multiple trips to and from the hospital, sleepless nights, and just leaning on each other for support. Today we were able to celebrate as a FAMILY because my husband is doing great! We laughed, ate, and smiled all day. It was a FAMILY-filled day...a perfect day! clowry65@hotmail.com
