Each Day...

...comes bearing its own gift....

....Untie the ribbons.

{12x12 inches, $45}

I've been working on several square canvases in preparation for the shows we've got coming up this spring. I'm loving how they turned out. This is the first that I'm sharing with all of you and I love the message. So often I take my days home with my kids doing ordinary things for granted. I want to always be 'present' and intentional with them and not just go through the motions, because each day really IS a present!

Not so coincidentally (don't you love it when God does that?!) I'm listening to a song on the radio right now called "The Motions" by Matthew West. Do you know it? It's really good and has been speaking to me. (If you go to M.W.'s link, you can listen to the song, and make your own resolution to not just go through the motions!) Does anybody else struggle with this? What do you do when you feel like this?

There'll be more new pieces to come in the next few days so stay tuned! {-Jill}

  1. Beautiful as always! So you make your own canvases with fabric?? I love the patterned sides.

  2. Some days are "white elephant" gifts and some "gag" gifts, but yes, each day is a gift and for that we need to be grateful.

  3. OOH, love the colours in this one, and the message is so lovely too :)
