Any day that is "normal" in our house is a good day: when no one gets hurt, no one's sick, no one's come up with some hair-brained idea, no one's made a big mess, no one's fighting. Nothing exciting has happened, nothing out of the ordinary has taken me by complete surprise.
Wait a minute, I'm not sure such a day exists. Oh well. The other kinds of days are treasures too - merely by the plain simple fact that everyone has survived.
