I had the honor of being commissioned to create this mirror for a fundraiser for one of our fine Iowa City Schools. Being a private catholic school, they rely on fundraising for their operating costs. This piece will be part of their silent auction. As a part of the auction, each grade comes up with an item to auction off. My friend, Celine, asked me to create this for the 5th grade classes and incorporate all of the kids' names. They signed little slips of paper and they became part of the artwork! I'm loving how this turned out and hoping it raises some money for them!

ReplyDeleteI am happy to say I am the proud owner of this beautiful one of a kind mirror! My daughter, Grace, was so excited when i brought it home. We are now debating its location... I want it out in the family room and Grace wants it in her room! Might come down to rock, paper, scissors! Thank you again and Celine for making this years fundraiser a huge success.
