Peg Dolls

This morning I started with this...

And ended up with this! You get this many women together and you get TROUBLE!
This girl is my favorite. She's very chic and very girly. I think she needs a french name. Any ideas?
This one is Carla. She's pretty rough. Trust me, you wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley. She likes to wear heels with her animal print leggings. She watches soaps all day except when she's snooping at the neighbors...
There she goes again...she's got a comment about everything, and everyone. Luckily, Mrs. Cleaver just closes her eyes and humors her. What else can you do? Who is she whispering about now?

"Doesn't she know headbands went out in the 80's?!?" Carla whispered.
Poor Laura. I mean Laur-el. Yeah...Laurel .That's it. She just does the best she can. You can tell it in her eyes. She's a little frazzled. She's barely keeping it together some days. She's got 3 kids at home. And a very annoying dog. She considers it an accomplishment to match her headband to her belt. Who cares if she bought them in 1986?
This one, of course, is named Emily. She might need to go in the mail to Texas. She has curly hair and likes the color purple. I've had WAY too much fun with these today. I might need to go make some more. Not because anybody is going to buy them, but because my 2 year old and I have been playing with them all day. I'm kind of attached.

  1. OH MY GOSH!!!! Make more! Make little tags telling about them? wow, are they ever cute.

  2. Um...they are lovely in all of their lovliness!!! I love them ALLL and especially little Emily. She needs to come to now.

  3. and you need to send little Emily with a roommate twin, too! How precious! I was ooh-ing and ahh-ing the whole time! You're so creative! Just like all of the Ward girls :-)

  4. Oh! These are way fun!

And they totally remind me of trips to Grandma's house. She had this huge FP town, with all the little people. As kids, we played with it for hours.

I think yours are cooler, though.
