    Today I am counting the decision my husband and I made to move from IA to AZ as a blessing. Things were tough in IA after multiple job losses because of staff reductions. Though we are far from our family and friends (which is HARD), we are able to be financially stable in jobs we both love and can take care of ourselves......plus we live close to 2 airports! It wasn't an easy decision, but the opportunity presented itself and we took it (with a lot of guidance from God). Life is good, I am blessed.....but of course we miss everyone that we had to leave behind.

    I am just so very thankful that my oldest daughter's pregnancy is going WELL. She has had years of problems and sadness. She is pregnant with a real baby, 8 weeks old!!! I stay up on her pregnancy by the week online (of course also with her) and LOVE seeing what is "developing" this week. Altho she isn't feeling good, she puts that aside and is giddy in love, which makes me so VERY thankful. There is no greater pain for a mother to feel than her children's pain, but so much thankfulness to see her happy. YEA!!!

    I am blessed with being a single parent to an amazing son. He is 21 years old now, my family helped raise him as his father chose not to be in his life until 2 years ago. I am blessed that he is one special person. Everyone talks about how good looking he is but I say he more than that. He thinks of others and is friends to many. He is the oldest of the cousins and they all adore him because he always has time for them even thou they are much younger than him. He is thee best thing I have done in my life!

    I was diagnosed in January with Stage I breast cancer and have gone through alot since then... 2 surgeries and I'll have at least 2 more. BUT.... in the past 7 months, I have met so many wonderful Christian people who have been such a blessing to me on this journey! My husband and kids have stuck by me and helped with things around the house and just loved me when I needed it! So, yes, I feel very blessed!

    Today as I try to distract my teething 8 month old and keep my active 5 year old busy, I am reminded that my tiredness is indeed a blessing. I can't imagine not having these two energy draining, immensely loving little boys in my life :)
