I couldn't resist the display of fallish things outside the grocery store today and came home with 10 mini-pumpkins.
Here's what Max (the 5 year old) and I did with them:
I hid them around the house for Max to find.
Once he'd found all ten, he did the hiding and I was the finder. I found one on the toilet seat and he "helped" me find the rest of his hiding places!
Then he invented a pumpkin game in which he made a path of toys, we rolled a dice and hopped our pumpkins from toy to toy. LOVE this kid's imagination.
I suggested we decorate them, but he thinks they're too little. We'll see......
Do you have any more fun ideas for us?
